Composer duo Zach Johnston and Matteo Roberts scored the Netflix animated miniseries “Oni: Thunder God’s Tale,” (Annie-Nominated for Best Music in 2023). They scored the Oscar-Nominated film “The Dam Keeper,” The Emmy-Nominated short film “Namoo,” and the Annecy winning Hulu Japan series “Pig: The Dam Keeper Poems.” They contributed original songs to the Cartoon Network / HBOMAX series “Summer Camp Island.” They have also composed several pieces for the popular sleep app Calm. From 2011 to 2017 they were principal members of the indie band Phox, making notable appearances at Coachella, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, NPR’s Tiny Desk, and Lollapalooza. They live in Los Angeles.
